Project TrainESEE v.2 is directed on development of Acceleration Program (AP) for the universities to stimulate the internalization and improvement of learning. AP’s are to be run for minimum 3 years (2022-2024) after finalization of the project, partly funded by universities own resources and supported by established mobility networks (Erasmus+ and CEEPUS programs) and EIT Raw Materials HUBs ADRIA, Košice and Greece.

AP is called to a collective action-learning process which allows universities to progress through their sustainable development path more quickly than usual.

In the end of 2020 project team of Dnipro University of Technology has done a SWOT analysis related to the specific topics that the TRAINESEE project addressed. This analysis together with our University strategy serve for tailoring acceleration program. SWOT is the basis of AP for understanding the directions of needed changes.

As in the TrainESEE project 4 transferable generic skills modules for RIS ESEE academic staff have been developed, every partner university has to include received knowledges and gained skills into university’s acceleration programs. During the specific training of each module, the most interesting learning items according to the strategy were selected and put into practice in the acceleration program: courses improvement, innovative teaching, trainings, teamwork, presentation and scientific development in business direction.

In the end of 2021 participants from Department of Foreign Languages Mariia Isakova, Svitlana Kostrytska and Oksana Khazova provided Pilot AP on Teaching methodology topic. It consisted of developing teaching materials based on project workshop and training providing for university academic staff. Training part included such topics as courses designing on student’s needs, innovative teaching and complex evaluation system development. It covered 1 ECT and combined theory, practical assignments and result presentations. In next 3 years the Department is going to implement extended version of this Pilot AP.

AP on Project development and management topic was aimed to increase the quantity and quality of project applications development and further successful project implementation. It included trainings providing and partnership widening. Lesia Doroshenko was responsible for its implementation. 

AP on Innovation and entrepreneurial skills topic included trainings and courses enhancement. It was provided on the basis of Institute of Economics by Artem Bardas and Olena Yermoshkina.

AP on Science to Business competences consisted of trainings and business partnership widening and perspective collaborations for science development. Roman Dychkovskyi was responsible for this direction.

All trainings and materials were in free access for university staff and everyone had the possibility to become a part of program.
